Our volunteers, in their various roles, are essential to the success of NRLC. We have approximately 80 volunteer tutors (who assist up to 100 learners each year); the Board of Directors has a maximum of sixteen volunteer members; other volunteers are involved in fund raising and other supportive activities. Some volunteers may be active in all of these categories.

Our volunteer tutors come from all walks of life. They share a love of reading and a desire to help other adults reach their literacy goals.
If you live in the St. Catharines, Welland or Niagara Falls areas and are interested in becoming a tutor, contact Gail in our office.
